Absolutely avoid this place! In 2024 they charged a flat weekend rate of nearly $5. As of 2025 they claim to charge $8 an hour but hidden “taxes” and “fees” ratchet that up to $12 an hour! These are San Francisco rates…

On the South Side, I usually park my vehicle in this garage. It is within walking distance of the restaurants and other businesses that I want to visit. The garage looks to be in very good condition, and I have had no problems with the elevator, lighting, or safety. I do, however, have to pay by phone.

DON’T RESERVE A SPOT HERE WITH SPOT HERO— you will get charged by Metropolis regardless. We reserved a spot through Spot Hero for around $13. The day of, we were charged $15 (the garage tracks your license plate). After reaching out to customer service, they said our reservation was not valid.

Have to scan a QR code on signs throughout the garage to pay, which is extremely unsafe and easy to be scammed with. The old ticket system is legitimately 100x better. This current system didn't pick up on my car properly when first driving in, and the visit never showed up in their website as being completed until I had to open a help ticket and explain the situation. Do yourself a favor and use street parking if available. Don't bother with this or any of the nearby garages as apparently they all use a similar crappy payment system.
