Gable Land & Lumber

Very happy with my purchase and the quality of their product. Used 8” pine to finish the inside of my new garage. Very few damaged boards (2 or 3) in a bundle of 600sq ft. Fit together perfectly and the finish was well done. Highly recommended!

I researched purchasing raw hardwood flooring around Michigan, and the results led me to Gable Lumber. They had the most knowledge about flooring and they successfully persuaded me to install a different floor then I originally was looking for. I purchased White Oak flooring and installed in myself in my 2 story farmhouse every room except the Bathrooms. It looks great I sanded and finished with Rubio Monocoat Pure. I am very happy. I gouged the flooring with a nail on the bottom of a cabinet, and I was able to sand and repair with a reoiling, and without getting down to the floor you can't tell I repaired it. Try that with Polyurethane. Highly Recommend!

We have ordered both knotty pine for basement walls along with trim to match and hickory flooring for a separate project from Gable. Their product is outstanding quality. The pricing is very reasonable, especially when looking at the quality/grade of wood you receive. Dan and staff are knowledgeable and professional. They walk you through the different types of wood offerings for your project in order to help decide what exactly will fit your needs/use. Our next project through Gable will be a trim order. This is a gem of a place!

I’ve done four Red Oak flooring projects using their flooring. Outstanding quality with virtually no waste. I don’t have to inspect each board as I know the quality is there. If you’re looking for unfinished flooring I highly recommend giving them a call.

I took some rough sawn ash to gable and they kiln dried it and milled into 4” and 6” random t&g flooring. Excellent job, I barely sanded it once installed and it’s beautiful. 100% recommend using them
