I had my garage floor epoxy-coated this past Tuesday. At first glance, the floor looked great--smooth, clean, and the price was fair. However, after giving it a closer inspection today (Friday), we found several issues that were hard to ignore. There were spots that were completely missed--no epoxy coverage at all. Some areas had excessive flake buildup that was just sealed over, making the surface uneven. In a few places, the epoxy dried into sharp, raised points that could be a hazard. While most of the floor looks decent from a distance, the quality doesn't really hold up under closer scrutiny. I was hoping for a more professional finish, especially since epoxy flooring is supposed to last a long time. I'd recommend the company pays more attention to detail on future jobs.

I hired Garage Floors One Day to coat the floor of my new showroom. I requested a matte cream epoxy finish and was told that while matte epoxy wasn’t possible, an alternative product suitable for floors would be used. During installation, I noticed the product being applied was labeled as wall paint. The crew stated it was appropriate for floor use.
