Georgetown Park Parking

In the garage for 47 mins (mostly driving around for a spot), literally to pick something up from across the street, and was charged a flat rate for the whole weekend, plus a fee! $24.10 for less than an hour. What a total rip off. Astonishing that anyone would go back there.

I don't regularly leave reviews, but this is one of the worst parking garages you can go. I parked the first time here and it was fine, but I was not aware that when you pay online, it WILL save your information of your license AND card information for when you come back. If you enter the garage, there is a camera that catches your license plate and will start the time. I tried to find parking for 45 minutes and when I exited the garage, it had charged me a full day when I wasn't even there for an hour and didn't find parking at all. Went to customer service and attempted to dispute the charge to the Senior Operations Manager. He was very dismissive and mean, sounded like he didn't even want to hear from my side. They advertise 30 minutes free parking with ev charging. I charged for exactly 30 minutes. I went 9 minutes over on parking, partly due to the traffic in the garage. Apparently I didn't read the fine print and also failed to validate my parking to confirm I was indeed charging my car, which I very much was and Electrify America could confirm. Charging an EV and getting in and out of this miserable garage is hard enough without having to read fine print. Cost about $35. For 39 minutes. Nearly $1/MINUTE!!! They don't even have a real pay booth, just a guy standing next to the exit with a tablet and a portable credit card reader. For how much money comes into this place, they could definitely afford a booth. And you have to walk up the car ramp to get out on foot, where there only sidewalks

I entered this parking facility solely to charge my electric vehicle, as there is an EV charging station located here. I clearly informed the parking staff that I was there to charge my car. Despite this, I was still required to pay a $28 parking fee upon exit. Later, when I contacted the charging app’s customer service, I was told that if I had stated I was charging my vehicle, this parking fee should not have been charged. In other words, this fee should not have been imposed at all. Nevertheless, I was forced to pay by the staff at this location. As a result, I ended up paying more for parking than for charging my vehicle, simply to use a charging station. This is unfair and creates an unnecessary burden for EV drivers. Agree with everyone else: Do not park here. It is a trap. Strongly recommend reading the other reviews before parking in the garage. They are speaking the truth. The garage needs to be investigated as many people are due refunds.
