We purchased a home from Gibraltar builders about a year and a half ago. I agree with some of the negative reviews posted here that they push to close on the house TOO fast and pay NO attention to detail. They do not follow the building plans and make changes without consulting the buyers. And trying to get one of their workers to return and correct the mistakes they made is next to impossible, they don’t answer the phone and don’t show up at the scheduled time and date. They don’t take correct measurements, and instead of providing a full stone countertop, they delivered a piece that was too short. If I could share my experience with Gibraltar in one word I would use seamless. From start to finish they made every single step easy, seamless and stress free. Which is very hard to come by especially when building a new home. Everything we expected exceeded our expectations. They answered every last one of our questions, guided us and were very open with communicating effectively. I wish all home owners could experience such an easy process like my husband and I have. We purchased a Gibraltar home recently. It was a spec home we found while searching for a larger home located on a larger lot than what we owned at the time. We literally found the house by driving by an area where several homes were under construction. We signed the contract to purchase in April 2024. In May we closed on the home although it still had items remaining to be completed. Here I will say Gibraltar builds a nice mid-grade semi-custom home with many desirable features and they’re on the market at competitive prices, at least in Palm Bay, FL. Among these items were missing closet shelves, missing trim, missing cabinet shelf standards, lack of finish paint in many areas and most importantly, the glass
