I had a complete rebuild of my deck and had contracted Gikas for the job. Overall the job was good, but they are lacking in the fine details and customer service. We had TimberTech installed as it was lower maintenance and weather resistant, especially for NJ weather. I noticed that one of the support railings began to crack/splinter which normally shouldn't be the case for TimberTech. I reached out to Gikas who told me to go directly to TimberTech for warranty as they didn't want to do it. I went through the process and TimberTech was GREAT to deal with but unfortunately Gikas just ghosts you the moment anything becomes inconvenient. Alex was very responsive, detail-oriented, and accommodating. The crew did an AMAZING job. These 100 year old floors were covered in glue and riddled with nail holes from carpet and laminate, and now they look brand new! For less than half the price I was quoted elsewhere. I'm a first time homebuyer and felt such a relief to have Gikas take care of the floors.

We chose them over cheaper contractors because we wanted quality work and professional service. The contract estimated 2 weeks to 6 months. We got our permit in January, they started in April, and wrapped up end of September 2025. Work would stop for weeks with vague explanations about other projects or weather.
