Yesterday we woke up with no water. I called Giles Plumbing before business hours and spoke with the on-call operator and left a message. While we expected we wouldn’t be seeing anyone yesterday since there may be a backlog of plumbing issues due to the ice storm, we received a text message within 30 minutes from Giles informing me that someone would be here in the morning. As a precaution, I called Giles once the office opened and was informed someone would be on the way. When you’re without water an hour seems like an eternity. Before noon, I received a call from John with Giles Plumbing to let me know he would be arriving within 20 minutes, and he did. He was able to assess our problem and fixed it within 30 minutes. Had a water heater leak last night. I shut the valve off - it would have made it til the morning. Called Giles to get on their schedule. Left a message with the after hours service (told them no emergency!) Maybe 15-20 minutes later, I got a call from John at Giles, telling me he's right down the road and he can stop by. A few minutes later, he's at my home and is going to get me fixed up on the spot. Told him it could wait until tomorrow - that's okay he says, let's get it done. Goes out to his truck but didn't have the part. "I'll be right back, have to run to the shop." I was looking for a plumbing company to take care of a minor issue. I called Giles and they were great at getting me scheduled quickly. I only needed someone to provide a brass pipe fitting to cap off a refrigerator water line. It was a 3O second job with the proper cap. They had to go to Lowes to purchase the cap because they didn’t have it. They came back, and in seconds were done. The fee was $120.00. I realize that this was a service call, but feel that fee is exorbitant for the job, and will definitely not use this company again.

Very happy with the services received. Michael and his colleague (I forgot to ask his name) came out to take care of a few plumbing issues and did an excellent job. They worked efficiently, installed two new toilets, and addressed all other concerns I had. The pricing was fair, and they were honest and transparent throughout the process. They went above and beyond by offering helpful suggestions to prevent future issues. I would absolutely recommend this company to friends and family and will definitely use them again for any future plumbing needs.
