Gladwin County Building Permit

Inspector cant tell aluminum from steel, guess he just thinks aluminum is attracted to magnets and doesnt rot. Inspectors here make stuff up and put different words down in the same spot on different change orders. I'd recommend buying a house somewhere they speak English because gladwin definitely isn't it. Also they don't cite any codes, appearing to just make things up as they go and suggest you hire a professional because they don't know the codes themselves.

I've had a few calls to the building department office and the staff is very pleasant and very helpful. They are a pleasure to work with!!!! Just completed my final inspections and the process was very smooth. The inspectors and Kim in the Officer were great to work with!!!
