Glitzy Goats

I hired Glitzy Goats to come clean out an alley type space behind my fence. Tons of poison ivy and kudzu so thick I don’t think I could have ever gotten it all out. The goats were awesome and did a fabulous job. I didn’t have to use chemicals and the neighbors kids loved it! It was honestly cheaper and easier than hiring humans and besides no one really wants to get poison ivy rash and kudzu thorns all over themselves. Would highly recommend! Brandie and the two guys (sorry don’t remember their names) were very nice and let me ask 1000 questions. Great experience! Some before during and after pics. Based on a neighbor's positive experience, we hired Glitzy Goats to bring a herd of 12 amazing weed-eating adult goats to clear our overgrown lot of English ivy, poison ivy, and many other weeds. We wanted an herbicide-free solution that also would allow the beneficial yard critters to clear out of the way, instead of getting mowed over. The company brings netted fencing that is mildly electrified by a car battery, so it keeps the goats in and predators out. We could control it, so we could turn the fence off for petting the goats. The goats were here just over a week to clear about a half acre. They work lightning fast to eat all the foliage, and they are fun and have unique personalities. I'm a STEM teacher at a private preschool. We wanted to do an overhaul on our overgrown garden but were overwhelmed where to start. We hired glitzy goats and it took 3 girls and 3 kids about a week to clear everything out. We initially wanted them for 5 days, but added on 2 more so they could really get it gone. Clay and Brandie were so flexible with our needs! They are also incredibly responsive-- specifically by phone-- and are very kind, helpful, and accommodating. Our preschoolers absolutely LOVED the goats-- they brought us a special group with mommas and babies-- and the goats were SO SO SWEET! HIGHLY recommend this service!!

This is our second time using GG and super happy with the results clearing our backyard. The goats were friendly and fun. The setup and takedown was easy too. The neighbors love it!

My husband and I have been struggling with a backyard that has a huge blanket of Ivy there's several feet deep in places and crawling up the trees and choking out the vegetation we actually want to keep. We rented the goats for about 5 days and I am floored with what they were able to accomplish in such a short amount of time considering they were standing in probably 2 ft of Ivy at the deepest points of our yard. I love that they removed the ivy from the trees and especially and thrilled that they were able to rip it free of the fence line, if you have ever hand pulled English ivy off a fence before you know the struggle and the goats chewed it off there with ease.
