GM Door Window and Screen

In 2016, we purchased a house in Plantation with hurricane impact windows in the kitchen atrium installed by GM Door Window and Screen. In 2025, a window developed a significant leak, causing damage to the wall, drywall, and mold growth (see photo from inside the house). Since December 11, 2025, I have emailed GM 4 times and called twice. I have not received a response to my emails, and regarding the phone calls, the receptionist said I would receive a callback, but no one has called. I certainly don't expect the product to be under warranty, considering the windows were purchased from GM by the prior homeowner. I know some warranties are non-transferable, and I am willing to pay for the repair, but I can't proceed without communication via phone, email, or text. I have no idea how this

I had my sliding door replaced with this company. The customer service was exceptional, The Installation was done quickly, And the workers who completed the job did so with the utmost professionalism! Their rates we’re not just comparable…They were fantastic! 10 out of 10 highly recommend. Five stars was not enough!

I had shutters installed by this company in July 2020. I wasn't going to write a review, but felt compelled to after my last phone interaction with the company. After the shutters were installed, I noticed that the installer didn't even bother to remove and adjust my home address numbers on the wall; instead he slapped on the shutters covering a portion of my address. How this got approved by the city, is beyond me as this is a Fire Code safety issue. Because my interactions with the company became unpleasant after I paid my down-payment, I felt uncomfortable dealing with them especially after I had already paid in full. GM Door, Window and Screen replaced my front door, and they did an excellent job. I truly appreciated how professional, polite, and detail-oriented the team was throughout the process. They were also very organized with all the necessary documentation. After the project was completed, they provided all the required documents neatly organized in a folder, ensuring I have everything I may need in the future. I would definitely recommend them!
