Grand Bay Moving & Storage

We have been a customer of Grand Bay Moving for 8 years. They moved us out of our Petoskey home in 2017 and we have been storing our furniture and personal items at their facility since then. More recently, they moved everything to both Chicago and Florida. Their service is exceptional and pricing is very reasonable. Joe Tornow is a great guy and took good care of us. Terry did a terrific job in executing our moves. I recommend Grand Bay Moving without hesitation.

From Glen Arbor down 43 curved and snowy stairs, and then from down state for another load back up to Traverse City, we couldn't be happier with the promptness, good humor, non-stop energy and enthusiasm and care for our precious and not so precious belongings. Had the Company pick up a new refrigerator at Home Depot today. Delivered to my home and removed the old one to the garage. Very helpful and professional crew. I thought I had everything ready but they had to use a different door so they helped remove the door and storm door. Covered our hardwood floors and moved it to position. No dings, dents or scratches. Worked at a good rate so my cost was very acceptable. Thank you.

Hired Grand Bay moving to move sewing machine cabinets from store to home (about an hour south of Traverse City). The two men were professional and extremely careful. They unboxed the new cabinets outside, rolled a runner from the front door to the stairs. They carried the cabinets (which were even heavier than expected) upstairs. They assembled the cabinets. They had the cabinets on end during installation. They took care when turning them upright to lift up, then set down on the castors so that they didn't strain & damage the castors while righting the cabinets. They took away all the cardboard. Not cheap, but definitely took care to assemble properly and not damage the finish. Would definitely hire again!

After being let down by another moving company to get an antique mahogany curved glass cabinet moved to our house, I contacted Grand Bay and was able to set up a time for pickup and delivery that was actually honored! Imagine that! Cameron and Larry made this job look very easy, had this piece up our stairs like it was made of plastic! It was wrapped very perfectly to protect the glass, and they had it unwrapped and put the shelves back in place in minutes that would have taken me an hour to put back in! Both very friendly, courteous and professional as well! Highly recommended this company and will contact them again in the future!
