What a beautiful place. They are open to the public, so you can walk into a magical space that's laid out like a garden in a European Palace. There's a picnic table under some archways, which is tempting to sit at for lunch. Located on Dixie Hwy, the traffic and grit of the street is quickly forgotten as you walk under floral arches into this little but glorious space. Might get some food at the cafe across the street and take lunch on this beautiful place, one day. Behind the formal garden bit are rows of mature and young trees and shrubs, all laid out in rows, but somehow still retains a bit of a magical fairytale like atmosphere, as if you are in some enchanted forest or in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (children's book).

We wanted a multi-stem tree for a special spot in our front yard and saw one at Green Acres as we drove by in 2020, 3 -years ago. We stopped in Green Acres and met Becky. The tree we saw was sold. Since then, Becky kept an eye open for the type of tree we were looking for. We stopped in Green Acres several times each year to let Becky know we were still interested and searching. This year, 2023, it arrived, a Paperbark Maple. We placed a deposit on the tree, then Becky and ourselves looked for someone who would move and plant our tree. It was surprisingly difficult to find a company willing to move and plant a single tree. After over 4-weeks, we found Davey Tree and the tree was professionally installed. Green Acres Tree Farm has a nice variety of mature trees to pick from with very knowledgeable staff. Our property is sloped and we were concerned about equipment on our lawn - ruts or torn grass. The installation crew was professional and worked efficiently - beautiful job even down to the mulch they placed around the newly planted trees. WHAT A SELECTION! This Forest Nursery has the most beautiful selection of mature trees, and the staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable. Love Becky & Dennise! I was looking for a standout specimen trees to anchor my front yard and one for the front. I bought a Concolor Fir and Tricolor European Beech there are both exceptional and just keep thriving! We are surely in love with the results and our yard is beautiful as can be.
