Guerri's Antique Restoration

Guerri’s Antique Restoration provided outstanding work re-caning our six dining room chairs. Over the years, we’ve had the seats re-caned twice, but the quality of Eugenio Guerri’s craftsmanship stands out above all previous efforts. The refinishing of the chair backs, frames, and seat sides was expertly done to ensure a seamless blend. The re-caning itself was meticulous, with the cane sheets stretched and splined perfectly. The stained shade of the cane matches beautifully. Mr. Guerri truly exemplifies mastery in restoration, and I wholeheartedly recommend Guerri’s Antique Restoration for any furniture restoration or refinishing needs.

I had an antique chifforobe that had been in my family for at least a hundred years. It was covered with many layers of white paint. I told Mr. Guerri to take his time. After several months he was done. I can’t tell you what a beautiful transformation. He revealed the beautiful wood underneath all that paint and brought it back to its original beauty. Eugenio is an absolute wonder; a craftsman in the ways of the Old World. We took a 2960’s Japanese table in for refurbishing and it now looks like a brand new, modern version It is amazingly beautiful

We contracted with Eugenio to restore two mid-century Lane Acclaim side tables. We asked they be refinished to match an existing Acclaim coffee table. Eugenio took the coffee table to his shop to serve as a sample for the side tables. We are completely satisfied with the communications, work, and finish. Our expectations were high, but we took time to convey them, and Eugenio took time to listen. Could not be more pleased. Eugenio is a craftsman and a professional.

I wanted a custom dining room table so badly and went on a search for a skilled carpenter. Eugenio came over to give me the scope of work and estimate and immediately, I knew I wanted him to make my pieces. He was kind, honest, timely. He contacted me several times through the process to assure me of the timeline and details. In fact, he was just as excited about my new furniture as I was. I had him create a l60' square table, 36" off the ground, and a matching bench with matching artwork (the flower of life) on both pieces. IT IS BEAUTIFUL! He came over with help to put it together in my dining room and I JUST HAD TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THEM! I am so grateful and LOVE LOVE LOVE my new custom furniture! Thank you Eugenio! YOU ARE AMAZING!
