Handyman Doug, LLC

We have used Doug for many years and he has been exceptional with his communication with his follow-through. We have used him for small repairs, plumbing, deck restoration, hanging pictures, painting, deck repairs and painting our house shutters.

We had severe woodpecker damage in front of our house after a month long vacation away from home. I tried to contact various services providers to have the repair done, most of them were either busy or stop working outside. I found Doug on Nextdoor and left him a voice message, he called me back the following day. Doug was able to accommodate my situation and came earlier than originally planned, he and his son were very nice, courteous, did a great job! It was a big relief to see the house being taken care before winter comes. I will ask Doug for any future handyman work and also highly recommend to anyone who is looking for house maintenance help with quality and peace of mind.

I hired Doug to replace an over the stove microwave oven. Doug was flexible with his schedule to accommodate mine. He was prompt, friendly and professional. His communication is first rate and I am very happy with the work that he did. I will definitely hire him again and I recommend him to anyone in need of handyman services.

Doug did a great job installing shiplap into my son's new room. He stopped by the same day I reached out to him about the job. Gave me a great quote and was able to come 5 days later to install it. He was courteous, hard working and friendly. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman.

Found Doug via Palatine Facebook group via a reference from someone in the group. I needed to get some cabinets trimmed up to be able to fit my new fridge into it's spot. Doug was quick to respond and helped me out on short notice. The cabinets got trimmed up perfectly and he helped me run a water line from the sink through the floor and in the basement back up to the back side of the fridge. I definitely wouldn't have been able to do this myself (didn't have the tools and just moved into the house) and would HIGHLY recommend Doug for any handyman related work in the area!
