Handyman for Hire

We love handyman for hire. Every project they have completed for us has been with care and thoughtfulness. I read a review stating that they did not remove shoes or seemed off about using shoe covers. Maybe this was an issue in the past, but when workers have come to our home they either take off shoes or take off shoes and bring a pair of indoor only shoes. They are professional, clean, and most importantly do amazing work. We have even had projects where they had little direction and were able to be creative on the end result of a project and we couldn't have been happier. Their business operates in short notice due to the wait times and availability of workers for the job. We are renters and our landlord used this company to fix three issues in our house. It took them two months for anyone to even come out and look at the issue, then when they finally got around to sending someone out their idea of scheduling is calling you 30 minutes in advance to tell you that they’re on their way because that’s what’s convenient for them… By far, one of the most unprofessional maintenance companies I’ve ever worked with. The tech that came was incredible, very helpful and polite but overall this company is awful.

A wind storm ripped some down spouting from my house. I noticed it in the morning, called, and Handyman for Hire had it fixed and reattached by the time I got back from work that day! No complaints. I'll definitely keep them in mind for future projects. Thanks!

Kathie Knupp and her crew made an 8- year old child's birthday party the happiest event ever! I am a Grandma that knows almost nothing about setting up a swimming pool. So grateful Kathie had a handle on how much time and what needed to be done. Do not feel comfortable posting pictures of people without permission-my grandson's Mom took plenty of pictures if she wants to add the actual festivities. Even the parents seemed relaxed and happy -- 15 kids that didn't want to go home. Thank you so much, Kathie, for the best children's swimming party of all time. First, the technician arrived on time. Honestly, he was grouchy when he came to my door, or was upset by the fact that I required shoe covers to enter my apartment. He came in and assessed the work that needed to be done and I was off to do laundry. I needed some bathroom fixtures put up such as toilet paper holder, towel bars, etc. Nothing too hard for a pro to handle since I had tried to do the work myself. Needless to say, he ended up doing the very thing I was trying to avoid myself, putting extra holes in the wall. Turns out, it wasn't me doing it wrong except I was using the wrong type of drill bit for my "non drywall" walls.
