Harbor Court Parking Garage

Convenient to the ferry but visitors must park on the top floor. Elevator was locked. Bring walking shoes, a flashlight and pepper spray…just in case. Garage looks like a castle ruin.

Portsmouth city engineer has replaced all the lighting and added security cameras in this garage at the request of the Olde Towne Business Association. The Portsmouth Police are also driving through at random time to help deter the staling of license plates. The OTBA and the beatification team have stepped up trach collection and the management company has added trash bins. More to come in the following months.

Portsmouth refuses to make security upgrades for this garage despite multiple break ins and vehicle thefts. The elevator is regularly out of commission, especially in the rain. All it would need is simple video surveillance on the lower level entrances to document comings and goings. It's starting to get ridiculous.

Lived in the apartments for just one month and use the garage for parking. In just 3 weeks the catalytic converter and license plate have been stolen!
