Absolutely Horrible Customer Service – Avoid This Store I’ve shopped at Harbor Freight for years, but after my most recent experiences, I can confidently say I will never spend another dollar here again. The customer service at this location is some of the worst I have ever encountered in any retail environment. On multiple occasions, I was flat-out refused service, with no clear explanation and zero effort to resolve the issue. Employees acted like helping customers was an inconvenience rather than their job. Instead of trying to understand the situation or offer a solution, they defaulted to dismissive attitudes, vague excuses, and outright refusal to help. No accountability. No empathy. Management at this store seems to have a dictator complex. A word of caution, DO NOT PURCHASE big ticket items unless you're willing to take the chance they're lemons. The store manager will void their entire return policy of even defective items by invoking her right of manager's discretion, even if the contract on the back of your receipt says otherwise. While reading the contract on the back of my receipt to the manager that allowed for returns of defective (or not) items, she could only point out the one line that said, "at manager's discretion". I personally bought an item that was defective out of the box and attempted to return it for a refund back to my credit card. The manager stated that since it was unboxed that it was considered used. Harbor freight is really taking it up a notch!!! Check out this ALL 10mm socket set!! AMAZING!! How did all the "real" tool companies miss this one?? AND I got 40% off because they were having a "parking lot sale". Lifetime warranty on hand tools and harbor freights are popping up everywhere. Can't beat'em!!!

Maybe don't hire people that don't know anything about tools or construction, or simple don't know where anything is in the store. I won't comment on the individual, it's just sad.

I usually shop at this Harbor Freight several times a week and never have issues with the staff, but today was a really disappointing experience. After buying my item, I realized right as I was walking out that I forgot to use my coupon. I went back in immediately, I hadn’t even made it to my car and explained the situation. The cashier, Brenden, told me I needed my receipt. I had just thrown it in the trash by the door, and instead of mentioning that I could use my emailed receipt, he told me to dig it out of the trash. Only after I asked did he finally say the emailed receipt would work. Making a customer dig through the trash for a receipt is completely unacceptable for any business that should be the absolute last thing someone is ever told to do.
