Harveys Carpets

I’ve done perhaps 2 dozen custom-cut areas rugs in the last 20 years, and Jim is the best. He did our latest “sunset” shape so well it was astonishing. Perfect lines and curves. Binding is especially difficult on curved lines, as the stitching machine tends to wander--but Jim seems to have some magic technique. He can be a bit terse about definition (he found an error in my drawing) but is keen to make sure that everything is communicated clearly. Jim is that rare find who takes pride in his work and has a lot of skill and experience.
