They switched their online billing system without notifying their users. I found out via Facebook and had to reach out to get my new log in information. Because this was a new system I assumed I would need to re-enter my billing information. I put a new card on my online account and closed my previously used account (i was recently married and joined accounts with my husband). I later received a letter that my payment was returned because the account was closed. I reached out and let them know i had updated my billing in the new system and was confused why they would use my old payment method. They, I guess, use a paper form that I filled out when I set up service instead of the actual billing system so now i have fees to pay for the returned payment. They should be communicating to users

They have monopolized on the fact that they are the only provider. It is extremely unethical, especially since the people of Hastings have no other provider to go to. They pull stunts, like a $25 fee for delivering a notice just because they can. Aren't you guys supposed to be serving the community rather than making an excuse to tack on extra fees.

We had a power outage during the week of march 4, 2025 at 10:00pm on Webster ave.It was a blizzard night. We called emergency and the crew was here in about 15 minutes. We were restored power in two hours. We are so thankful. Dan Johnson

Their employee Victoria should be fired. Her tone of voice and attitude with customers is truly disgusting and rude. Never would I hire such a disrespectful woman like that. She has the audacity to be disrespectful and degrading towards customers by profiling them as having money or not. Do better with training your employees on PROPER customer service as well as better protocols because stating you left a notice on my door when you in fact DID NOT leave ANY sort of notice then proceeds to type up a falsified document when asked for a copy is out of line and you’re trying to profit off of your customers and screw them over. I suggest you do better because next time you’ll have a larger issue at hand.
