Heart of the Home Kitchen and Bath Design

Heart of the Home recently designed our kitchen and the end result was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Myself being a perfectionist I wanted someone to understand my vision and that’s what Jamie did. Her eye for design and home beauty exceeds any home designer around. She executed our vision of simple but elegant! She holds everything to high standard in her work and it shows. We get so many compliments on our kitchen!

As you can see from our before photos, our kitchen was in desperate need of a remodel. Chelsi was able to come up with a design that fit our needs perfectly, from relocating our refrigerator and range, to adding just the right amount of open shelving. She was able to take our ideas and make them a reality. She was very helpful in choosing the island color and the cabinet pulls and handles. Our R.D. Henry cabinets are beautiful and very well-made. Our contractor was fantastic, removing a wall between the dining room and kitchen, incorporating a 90 year old door into a barn door entry to our pantry, adding outlets under the cabinets and the island, and alleviating any problems that we encountered. We are thrilled with our new kitchen!

We have been exceptionally pleased with Jamie’s expertise and service. She took into account our kitchen and bath needs and developed plans that addressed the function together with the design. Jamie’s creative ideas are unending; she was careful to keep our newly remodeled rooms in line with the overall feel of our home. She sees her projects through from start to finish, down to the smallest details. One kitchen and four bathrooms later, we would highly recommend Jamie and her company, Heart of the Home, with abounding confidence.

She was also able to keep us all on a timeline, and she kept us within budget. Her choices are high quality, reasonably priced and timeless. The workmanship was excellent, and she was very professional. She was wonderful to work with and made the whole process so easy for us! I will hands down work with her on any home project in the future!

Jamie is incredible! She designed the perfect kitchen for my family! She was able to include everything I asked for and had some great ideas (bigger window and 2 dishwashers!). She can in on time and on budget. Sadly, we moved. But now, she’s designing our bathroom in our new home! (Kitchen is next!). I completely trust Jamie and will always use her when it comes to remodeling!
