HEARTLAND Counter Tops & Architectural Millwork

Owner was nice and talkative got the full payment for the granite counter. Then sent out his installer to make sure everything was correct and remesured ,we then got a call saying that he needed $500 more and that our measurements that came from the cabinet people was wrong. Counter does look nice but has a few issues, tried to call and found out they have gone bankrupt. So I guess we got off pretty easy considering the news where he took thousands of dollars from people and didn't refund.

I ordered a full set of custom cabinets in February and they came to install them in August. The cabinets originally ordered were a different color, style and even layout but since the time of completion lagged on for so many months I was asked by the owner if I wanted to change them. I didn't want to change it but they could give me no timeline or expectation when they would be finished otherwise so I felt strong-armed into saying yes. Despite this they are lovely cabinets and I've had no quality issues. I think most of the problems this company has is that it outsources from another company 'Schrok' which I can wholeheartedly not recommend that anyone uses. Professional, courteous, tidy and careful, friendly and just over 2 hours later I have a stunning new countertop. The guys were the best. Fabulous experience.
