Heathcote Restorations

Heathcote just completed fully restoring all the windows in my 1920's tudor. Not only did they give me the most competitive estimate there were amazing to work with! Randy was very responsive to all my concerns, explaining each step of the process, and bearing with all my questions. Great work by Randy and team as we restored the front of our 1920s tudor in Edgemont. Communication, cost, and delivery were all top notch. Both aesthetics and function are greatly improved and the new storm inserts have helped a ton with weatherproofing. Highly recommended for a project big or small!

We are in the middle of having Heathcote restore the steel casement windows in our 1930 built house in Ridgewood, NJ. There are very few companies in the tristate area that do window restoration. Most businesses sell window replacements, which is not a desirable option if you wish to be ecologically responsible and want to preserve the quality of material and workmanship of a well made structure built many decades ago. The few window renovators in this area seem to focus more on large scale assignments for major structures that have historical significance. I found that Heathcote accepted single house restorations. The owner Randy Holden was forthright and suggested that I investigate the details of window replacements as a point of reference prior to making any decision. By so guiding my education I was able to make an informed decision that restoration was the better option for my mid-century brick Cap

We had a couple of windows in our Sleepy Hollow house break when a tree fell in our backyard. As they were 97 years old, we really didn't want to replace with new and wanted to keep the historic charm. Randy and his team exceeded expectations, he took our old windows and brought them back to something we could never expect. When we purchased our house, the windows didn't even open and the hardware was a dark black. When the windows came back they were restored to like new with they bronze hue. Our windows now open and look amazing! I would highly recommend Randy and his team.
