My air conditioner failed to come on and I call a couple different companies (ASI and Anderson) and they said that I need to replace my air conditioner to a newer system. I said no because i had is installed back in 2008 and ten years should not be old, so I called Strang, the service tech came out and fixed the outside unit fast( bad capacitor) The price was very reasonable and I recommend Strang over those SELL ME A NEW UNIT companies.

Appointments mean nothing to this company. This is the second time we've used them. Last time they never showed up and didn't return my phone calls on the day of my appointment but showed up a week later. We gave them a second chance and called again, I made an appointment well in advance, and no one showed up. I waited all day long, call three times, was able to get ahold of someone and was told that a technician would call me back and haven't received a phone call back from them.

Agree with other reviewers of Strang Heating & Air Conditioning. Getting an appointment or call back is nearly impossible. Strang is the HVAC installers in my brand new construction condo. Unit was installed and not functioning. AC would work for a day, then cut out and not power on for several days. The would start working again. After numerous attempts I was able to get Strang onsite, they said I had an electrical issue. I got the electrician onsite, they said its an HVAC issue. Strang told me they need to see the issue when it occurs, but again they said it was an electrical issue. So several months go by in a new condo without a working HVAC. This is a great company that has been family owned and operated since the 60's in San Diego County. They do both residential AND commercial projects for heating and air- Repairs and Installations.Trust their experience, knowledge and fair pricing for all your HVAC needs!

The repair guy was great but the company charged us $412 for 2.5 hours and a $20 part w/ install. The company was not upfront with pricing at all and very shady.
