I was shopping for an electric dryer and started out at Home Appliances. Lenny greeted me and very patiently listened to my specific requirements for a dryer, and then showed me a few that should fulfill my specifications. I assumed the prices at an appliance store would be more expensive , so I wanted to shop around before making a purchase. I went to a big box store and discovered very few dryers are actually in the showrooms and I was provided links to shop online. Online shopping is not my favorite way to shop, especially for major appliances. I needed someone to actually speak to me and answer my questions, so I returned home and called Lenny. Excellent customer service! Was greeted promptly when we walked in and escorted to the Speed Queen washers and dryers that we were there to look at. All of our questions were answered in a very professional manner! There were no pushy sales tactics used and we were given an ample amount of time to discuss a potential purchase amongst ourselves. Rob was a good salesman but that was about it. Delivery and installation was a nightmare. I purchased a Speed Queen pair. When it came to the delivery one of the men who took it off the truck decided to rock the appliances back and forth on the cement driveway. I was not informed I needed to buy a part for connection g from the gas line to the dryer line . Dryer couldn't be connected. They don't have this part. O bought the part. They didn't know when they could come back. Really? Also said washer was connected and leveled . It wasn't . After speaking to several people (Rob and the person responsible for delivery) I was able to get someone to come back before I sent the appliances back. Same installer came out with another man. Hooked up the dryer and washer. Ok. I thought everything

I highly recommend Home Appliance (HP) when you are in need of a new, or scratch & dent, appliance. I've purchased clothes washers/dryers, refrigerators, & ranges/stoves from HP since the 1980's. They sell parts at a competitive price for my DIY repairs, & have had their technicians perform repairs as needed. HP has ALWAYS provided professional service, knowledgeable employees, & a clean, well organized, & well stocked facility. I can't say enough positive things about Brian, Beth, Shaun (now at the Avon location), Tracy, & now salesperson Scott McCauley at the Brunswick store. If you want personal, & personable, service, skip the big box stores & give Home Appliance your business. My experience has been that you won't regret that choice. Don Dorland

Len was the salesman that greeted me as I walked in. Unlike salespeople at other places, he didn’t push anything else on me. I told him what I was there for and he knows his inventory. He showed me exactly what I was looking for, and was familiar with the options. He made the checkout process easy and told me exactly what to expect with delivery. Buying an appliance is often a necessity and not a luxury, and already a stressful time. Len was the calm in my crisis. I’d recommend him to anyone and I’d go back to him again.
