I called because my heater wasn't working. Mike asked me to describe the issue and he was able to deduce that the sensor was dirty and it needed to be cleaned. He was honest and said I could probably do it myself instead of having to pay someone to come over. He was very patient and nice over the phone and explained where to look, what screw to focus on, and how to clean the sensor. Honestly I have no experience working with tools or HVACs. But Mike's instructions were easy enough that I was able to get the heater to work again in about 15 minutes. I really appreciated that he took the time out of his busy day to help me, and for free. Steve and his brother Mike personally came out to take a careful look and took the time to properly diagnose the issue. They rewired and installed the correct thermostat, fine-tuned the furnace settings, and made thoughtful adjustments to the air duct to address an airflow design issue. I called at 5am this morning with my furnace out on the coldest day of the year. Mike got back to me right away and was able to diagnose the issue over the phone. Recommended a troubleshooting step and the furnace fired right up. He didn’t need to do that and could have come out and charged me a premium being a Sunday. Can’t tell you how impressed I am. I offered to send some kind of payment for his help and he refused saying he was just happy to help. Nice, honest people who have earned my business for all future needs.
