Home Services at The Home Depot

This was a total joke! Home depot told us one thing, the flooring installation company told us another. At one point the floor guy at home depot told us that he was talking to the floor installation co. and that the info he gave us was directly from them. The floor installation co. tells us that the home depot guy never spoke to them. So, someone was lying to us. We never were told the same answers from either side. The installation company came over to our house and told us the whole floor needed to be leveled and it would cost us up to another $1000. So, we had a friend come over who is a contractor, in order to check to see if our floor was level. He told us that there was barely only 2 spots that needed to be fixed and it would only cost us around $200. Do not trust home depot or the c

Flooring installer damaged my door s, door james , and base boards. ( These were all newly painted 4 days before this carpet installation. This was the 3rd time out to our house. The two times before were great 5 stars. But the last time not recommended. I talked to the contractor who installed the 3rd time and was told this is normal and that I should read the small print in the contract stating scuffs and dings are a normal part of installation.. ( note: This part is bs) I have 3 more rooms to carpet in my house a d I will be taking my business to empire carpet.

I used Home Depot to get some French doors installed inside my house. The associate was very helpful and the contractors who installed the doors did a fantastic job on the installation

The times I have needed advice or help I've been pleased with the knowledge of the staff that helped me. I get annoyed at the sales people trying to sell home services because I feel like I get approached 80% of the time. Returns have always been smooth which I am grateful for!
