I had special ordered some Andersen windows and a Jeld-Wen door. My contractor was getting ready to install the windows when he called me to look at them. The windows had been sent without nailing flanges, even though the order was copied from a previous order that had nailing flanges. As I was on the phone with Home Depot, he called me again and said 'you better come look at this door'. The corner mitre of the aluminum cladding had about a 1/2 inch gap that exposed the white wood underneath (the cladding is dark brown).I called HD and spoke with Troy. He was awesome. He contacted Andersen concerning the windows to determine if there was an aftermarket flange we could use. He called me back as he promised, even though there wasn't a quick solution. Dave Brown, the kitchen designer was very helpful. He showed us all options and explained everything so that we could understand. Whatever he's getting paid, it needs to be more.
