Got a price from the estimator when he came to my house. The floor was bare to the wood. He checked the floor for being level. Informed me there were 2 low spots that needed to be leveled That was included with the estimate. When the installer came out the company wanted to add $800 to do the floor. I got a call from home depot and explained to them the story. They said they would split the price with me and i would pay $400. I agreed. The only reason I agreed is because I took the day off of work and all the furniture from those rooms was in my kitchen and other places in the house. If I was not in that spot I would have canceled the whole thing. It was extra money I really couldn't afford. Now I have carpet installers coming on March 14th.
