I had new carpet installed with memory foam padding. The installers were very nice and installation was very fast. The only reason I gave 4 stars is bc the offgassing of the carpet VOCs is terrible, I think it might take at least a week. However I know this is common with new flooring. I would recommend.

Big disconnect between installers, installer project manager, home depot inspector/assessor and home depot project manager. I suggest finding your own contractor to do the work, that way you know who you are dealing with and don't have to tell 3 different and busy people about any issues that come up. There were numerous material delays with my order. Numerous labor/installer issues(expected as I have an older house) but also disputes on what materials are used vs what was ordered. It was a headache that I won't sign up for again. As for the quality of the install, they were clearly in a hurry, I don't know if they had other jobs to get to or what.

The crew from jcm carpet that Home Depot sent to my house was amazing, they did a great job I'm very happy with their work.
