Hired to install a bathroom fan. Unfortunately, the work was done in the quickest shortcut way possible. Instead of venting the fan properly outdoors with a secured duct and vent cap, the duct was just left draped in the attic, blowing moist air back inside. This creates exactly the kind of mold problem the fan was meant to prevent. I had a mold remediation company come out, and they confirmed this setup was not correct and told me it needed to be fixed before cleanup. Now I have to pay someone else to redo the job the right way. A bathroom fan must be vented all the way to the outside (roof, wall, or soffit with a proper vent cap). Simply leaving the duct loose in the attic is not code-compliant and will cause serious problems. I would not recommend this service unless you want to pay t
