Hometown Handyman

Really too bad I have to write this review as originally I was quite happy with the work but it wasn't until after the work was done did I start having issues. The work I had done from them was demoing the walls in half my basement and finishing drywall/painting as well as installing floors. I had most of the materials already purchased so it was just an install of everything. The floor was a floating plank and I just needed the vapor barrier and floor installed. We had some seeping issues after a rain where gallons of water came up through the original tile under the flooring. This is what a vapor barrier is for, so my flooring doesn't get damaged due to sitting water. I had noticed most of the water was ON TOP of the vapor barrier. I’m so glad I called Hometown Handyman for my bathroom renovation. They always stayed in touch and would answer any question I had with a prompt return phone call. They were always on time and would clean up daily. Jeb, Ethan and Eli were great .. but the biggest superstars in my reno. was Ryan and Randy… I can’t thank them enough for the awesome job they did.. we love our new bathroom!

Zeb & Eli were good to work with. The sub crew (Gary & his crew) were good to work with. Everyone was very professional & listened to our ideas, corrected any problems (very minor) quickly. Deck looks very awesome & is very solid. Communicated very well. Cleaned up after completion above & beyond our expectations. Will definitely use hometown handyman again.

This review is long overdue. I actually had several boards on my deck replaced. Ethan was quick to respond to my initial email to set up a time to look at the deck. He checked it out and discussed with me what he thought. I was emailed the quote and upon accepting it we set up a time for repair. Derek had one assistant (sorry, I can't remember his name). The work was done very professionally and clean-up great. Ethan, Derek and his assistant were all very nice. I can't really comment on price because I didn't get a quote from anyone else (I know, not a good idea). Hometown Handyman was recommended by someone my daughter knows who owns a construction company.

Everyone was great! Derick and Cody were very detailed in their work. The shower they installed is beautiful. I will definitely use hometown handyman again. They treat you like family. Would give them ten stars if I could.
