I had a relatively small concrete project and called several area places for delivery. Hood River Sand and Gravel was the best priced and they were willing to deliver for my project. Their service and willingness to help was amazing. I will be recommending them to everyone. Jerry was a super cool driver and didn’t make me feel like a waste of time. Nice to know there is still good service out there.

Recommend sand and gravel in Hood River great customer service on the phone and great customer service in person the gentlemen that delivered gravel Daniel was very helpful on helping me decide on how thick and far the gravel would spread. The gal that I spoke to on the phone was very kind and helpful as well . Both of them did a wonderful job and making it a positive experience

HR Sand, Gravel & Ready Mix has the best service and highest quality products. Their staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They seem to always be available to answer questions and can get you what you need in a jiffy. They've provided me consultation on concrete mix designs and make great recommendations for meeting project goals. They get very busy during the construction season, so keep that in mind.

Beware of hidden fees that they don't divulge upfront, as well as inexperienced drivers who do not know how to properly operate their machinery. The driver did warn me that he wasn't familiar with operating the truck, so I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised when the driver exited and destroyed part of our sprinkler system.

I got a good experience with the people here. I got gravel for a proyect the guy with the CAT was very kind advising me about the weight my truck can handle.
