Howard Well Drilling And Water Treatment Systems

Shotty Work! This guy put 2 different wells on our property, both of which went dry. They were both placed prior to us purchasing the property. We’ve been at the property 8 months and have another dry well. A neighbor confirmed that the current well was put in less than 2 years ago. We contacted Mr. Howard who said he does not do any warranties for his work and told us he’d “try to come by if he got a chance”. We have 4 children, infant twins, and have been without water for 5 days already. We were able to get someone else come out and look at things, he stated that Mr. Howard is well known for his shallow wells and he personally has had to come in behind him and fix issues or completely redo wells.

Howard Preston installed a new well for me in 2016. He was straight forward and professional. The work was completed quickly without problems or errors. He spoke with experience and knowledge about what to expect and how to operate the system. When I called him a more than a year later after the warranty period about maintenance issues, he took the time to discuss them thoroughly without trying to sell me additional services. He was primarily interested in being helpful. I would use him again and again.

I have used Mr. Preston many times for installing a new well at many new home sites . He has been wonderful each time . He has a neat package that gets you all you need to operate the well properly and services after the sale . Great notifications to let you know about upcoming frigid weather and how to protect your well from it . Such a pleasure to work with . Jerry

Needed a well pump replaced in a hurry. Mr. Howard was responsive and very prompt. He accurately diagnosed my problem and repaired quickly. He is very knowledgeable about the water in our area of Johns Island.

Installed a well that ended up having to be replaced. Mr. Howard repeatedly said he would come by to fix his problem but never showed up. Just complained and came up with excuses during the entire installation; which took forever to complete. Had filter media clog up toilets and other plumbing fixtures. Told Mr. Howard about this problem but nothing was done. Just excuses!!!! Reply to businesses response..4 YEARS LATER!!!! Look at other site reviews. Same thing. Problems with no response to fix HIS problems. He had over 7 acres to put the well wherever he wanted and none of it is swamp. Stay away from this company. Excuses with no results.
