Hudson Cabinetry Design

I highly recommended Hudson Cabinetry Design for custom millwork. Doug was an absolute pleasure to work with and was incredibly thorough throughout the process. He took the time to complete multiple site visits, answer my many emails and guide the design process. He understood my vision and made it fit with our existing space. When it came time for install, the team was prompt, courteous, efficient and clean. The final result blew us away with the level of craftsmanship, functionality and design. As an example, I never thought to ask for 'quiet close' cabinet doors, but they were installed regardless. Finally, I felt they were competitively priced, especially when considering the quality of the work provided. I only wish I had another project to work with him on!!

I cannot recommend Hudson Cabinetry Design more strongly. During a very lengthy renovation, my interactions with Doug Bialor have been nothing short of amazing. Doug and his company were one of the bright lights of the renovation. He is very creative, easy to work with and very fair with his pricing. Pure class. I called Doug at Hudson Cabinetry Design early in the process of commissioning a 15-foot built-in, floor-to-ceiling media wall unit. He was incredibly generous with his time, spending about an hour discussing our goals and his company's capabilities. We ended up hiring a different company with a lower quote. But progressing the project with them ended up being a huge struggle, and two months in, they just stopped responding. We quickly went back to Doug, and the difference in professionalism was striking. He was at our apartment the next day to take measurements, significantly improved on the other company's preliminary design, and gave us a reasonable work timeline that held. Doug and his team did really great work and were very clear and communicative throughout the design and estimation process during a project where we replaced older built in HVAC covers with covers and custom shelving in 4 separate rooms in our apartment. During the actual installation and build over 2 days, they were equally exceptional - they really demonstrated great attention to detail and care in their craft to make sure everything was just right. We're very happy with the results and would recommend Hudson Cabinetry Design highly.
