Hueytown City Hall

I have a stray puppy who won’t leave. I have called multiple times to Hueytown Animal Control. The receptionist is rude who told me I would need an appointment for animal control to come out and get him. Unheard of. I can’t take him to the Birmingham Humane Society because of transportation. No other animal control will pick him up due to Hueytown having their own animal control. The receptionist had the nerve to tell me to drop him off in some random parking lot. I want someone to come get this dog today or I will not stop calling until my voice as a citizen of Hueytown is heard. This is a new low even for you Hueytown.

City hall needs to clean up their police force. I’m visiting family from out of state and driving around looking at different areas to possibly move and a police officer pulls me over for not having headlights on while it’s barely sprinkling. No one else had their headlights on and the cop sure didn’t (hypocritical). City hall, do your job and make people feel more welcome in your town. This is just pathetic. Maybe you don’t like nice people moving in or maybe you’re too scared of outsiders, but people looking to bring money into your community should be harassed.

The Judge held court from another location via video conferencing. It was all very efficient; a courtroom full of people was cleared out in about an hour's time. Ticket prices are extremely high here so try not to speed when driving through Hueytown.
