I have never ordered anything from HVAC Direct until now. I do see them frequently come up when I am searching stuff on Google, i just always try to find stuff locally first. I originally found a ductless unit on eBay that they had listed, and was messaging them about availibility. I know eBay charges sellers some pretty decent fees especially on more expensive items so I figured I would check their website. I found the exact same item on there website for cheaper, and it also showed that they had 2 in stock. I put my order in through their website and the guy I was talking to on eBay even reached out to the warehouses to verify that they had the stock. So far, I've been waiting well over a month for a part. I bought the brand new ACiQ-36-HPC Extreme Series. It worked for a few minutes and then broke. I've been without heat or air for 2 months. It's disappointing and frustrating. Update still waiting! I also put a review on their website product listingbut it didn't get posted. It's weird. There are only 5 star reviews and nothing else. Purchased split unit 3 years ago, within first year one unit had to be replaced and I had to paid labor again to have replaced. Now the same unit has a leak in coil. Now besides added labor cost to have replaced I have to pay core charge which is refund once they get it back. I’m also on the hook for shipping to me $125 plus have to pay to ship back in order to get refund for core. What kinda of customer service is this. Their product failed but they the customer is on the hook for all costs all over again plus shipping. Buyer beware!!! Look else where with better customer/tech support!!! I sure as hell will be!!!!

I just purchased my third and forth DIY mini-splits. Everything has been delivered in good condition and the units have been super-easy to install. I had one issue with the second one due to a utility company issue with power supply, no fault of the unit supplier, and these folks helped me through the repair process with zero cost to my homeowner. Their response has been incredibly courteous and prompt.
