Impark - Harvard Market Lot 72

WARNING! This lot is incredibly scammy. Always print your receipt. I paid for 4-24hrs and returned to my car to find a ticket. You have to call them to clear it. They count on people being lazy. Do not park here.

This lot aims to scam patrons. They boast signs of free 30 minute parking but the fine print is a requirement to search out their vestibule to “pay” for your free parking. I called to dispute my ticket as an honest misunderstanding, noting that my ticket also had incorrect vehicle information. Their customer service representative told me that the citation inputs are up to the discretion of the patrol person for how they fill out their notices. Looking at the other 5+ cars next to mine with tickets, I tried to inquire with them how to send feedback to make more effective and accessible signage, and was essentially told it’s my job to read every sign in the parking lot- meanwhile their staff can fat finger their $95 fines all they want. Avoid if possible.

Don't park here unless you want to risk being followed into buildings and screamed at and then charged a $93 ticket for a quick 5-10min pet drop off. They will reject your dispute and will not inform you of this because "it's your responsibility to inquire about the status". You will not receive any notice followup until they send your ticket to collections. The parking lot setup has had numerous issues with their ticketing constantly breaking, people getting stuck in and out of the lot, bars being locked, etc. The risk is just not worth it.

There are no barriers and a sign that says "free parking under 30 minutes." I parked for 20 mins and returned to find a $93 ticket on my vehicle and a threat to send me to collections. Apparently there is a separate sign saying you have to register to get the free 30 mins. Easy to miss and not anything I'm used to or had seen before. I called but they wouldn't budge. I assume these tickets are some sort of money maker for "Impark." Seems like a scam. Make your signage more clear. Would have been happy to register or pay reasonable hourly rate if I'd only seen the sign. What a terrible way to treat people in these difficult financial times.

This parking lot is impacting businesses in the lot! I went to Banfield to drop off my dog before I headed over to get a ticket for my car - by the time I came out, a worker was giving me a ticket. When I told him that I was on my way to get a ticket for my car but needed to drop my dog off first, he told me to email Imperial Parking LLC and show them my ticket.. without doing so I would owe the fee. Why would I want to go to the Banfield here? Or any other business for that matter?
