Inlet Marine

I bought a home with a boat lift already installed by Inlet Marine. I needed it adjusted (and serviced) to accommodate my boat when I moved in. Chuck and his team came out and did the job ahead of the move, then came back to make sure that the boat was sitting where he wanted it and made additional adjustments. I love this attention to detail! Chuck also gave me the complete lesson on how use the lift (never had owned one before). This week it was making a noise, so he came back out and checked it and adjusted settings and lubricated the bearings to his exacting standards. I love that he stands by his products, even when you aren't the original purchaser! Will definitely have him come back out again every year for maintenance!

Inlet Marine built our pier and docks recently, and we could not be more pleased with the results. The surveyors, engineer, and extensive permits took a good deal of time. Chuck Archer said our dock would be in by Valentines Day, and it was even with design modifications. Very responsive to those changes and he was a pleasure to work with. Our dock is solid and fits perfectly into our landscape.

Chuck and his crew did an outstanding job of reinforcing my existing rip rap bulkhead. The original installation was marginal at best and Inlet Marine added an additional 20 tons of rocks to stabilize it. They finished in one day, cleaned up the mess and were gone. They went to great lengths to minimize the damage to my existing lawn. I now feel comfortable that this bulkhead will stand for years to come and have recommended Inlet Marine to several neighbors.

I used to have a policy of getting three or four quotes for every project that I wanted to do, then selecting a contractor based on price. I have since learned that the best price is not always representative of the best value. Now I base my decisions on my gut feeling during our first meeting. When I first met with Chuck, he showed up to my home ahead of our scheduled meeting time, while the two previous pier builders were late. After spending an hour with Chuck reviewing my plans and discussing various aspects of the project, I knew he was the right person for the job. He provided a quote in a timely manner and worked with me every step of the way as we ran through process of obtaining the various approvals needed to begin construction. I believe the quality of the work to be exception
