I highly recommend Island Power. I needed to replace a couple of light fixtures. Zach promptly responded to my online inquiry and scheduled an appointment for the following week. For competent service and fair pricing, you can’t go wrong with Island Power. I will definitely call on them again the next time I need an electrician.

I would highly recommend Zach next time you need any electrical work done! He got back to me quickly with reasonable quotes and answered any questions that I had. He did several jobs for me like getting power to my detached garage, venting both of my bathrooms and dryer, installing a bigger panel in the cellar, switching out light fixtures, etc. Overall I was very happy with his work!

Our remodel would have been a mess without Zach. He kept everything clear and fair, squeezed us in when we were in a pinch, and even looked out for us on things that weren’t really his job. Zach / Island Power have exceeded my expectations while running new wire in a 1963 home on three jobs (so far): 1) to supply power to a heat pump all the way on the other side of the property from the panel; 2) for a generator inlet (and lockout on the panel); 3) to install a ceiling fan on a sloped ceiling. All of those were done quickly, on time, and at or under the estimate. He seems to be particularly good at finding ways to avoid any noticeable disruption of the existing walls/ceilings. Oh, there was a fourth job I almost forgot: the heat pump circuitry got fried (still under warranty, fortunately) -- Zach / Island Power installed a surge protector and there have been no problems since.
