RIP OFF ALERT! J Anthony does not care about their customers. They only care about lining their pockets with your money by over charging and not standing behind their work. In 2012 I had them install a new HVAC unit with a 10 year warranty. Fast forward to 2017 and the compressor on the AC unit has gone out. J Anthony tech comes out and says $1800 labor cost to replace the under warranty compressor. You'd figure that they'd give a loyal customer a better price on the work. NOPE! I called Desert Air who quoted $1500 for the same work and I'm not even one of their customers. Stay away from J Anthony. They are the worst professional service company I have ever encountered. It's sad that they prey on people who need cooling to live in the desert.

When my house started getting hot, I scrambled to get a company to come out on short notice to repair my AC. J Anthony was one of my choices to call. They sent a tech out almost immediately and I was shown that my system was broke and very old. They recommended replacement. This caught me off guard, but I chose to proceed and shortly there after a crew was out removing the old unit. Before they finished removal another crew arrived with a new unit. And before I new it my house was again cool. Very professional and neat. I would highly recommend them to you. Being in the service industry myself, there expertise was appreciated. I believe any negative ratings you may see was a result of the customer being upset more with there problems then the company they chose to use. Price Excellent, se

The worst service we have ever received. They made our unit function worse than it did before they serviced it- $330 left us with no air for 3 days -- they tried to charge us $3000 for work that did not need to be done. Had Paloma Air conditioning come and check it out and it was fixed and running better than ever in less the 45 minutes for only $85. JAnthony air company is dishonest and I would not recommend them to anyone. Check out their yelp reviews and you will see this is a common practice for them. It's completely unacceptable. We have requested our money back and we are reporting them to the BBB and to the local news stations. Stay far away from this company!

Our unit was 5 years old and stoped cooling. J Anthony came to check it out and immediately Stated unit was shot needed replaced. They saw we lived in a nice neighborhood n nice house so they ASSUMED we had money. $8000 was quoted. We had to MAX out 3 credit cards to pay for unit. Next summer we needed violent they said. Charged for the coolant because was not under warrantee. Wanted to charge for labor but I reminded them we had a service contract at no charge for 5 years. Now I understand that they are NO LONGER in service. Another company bought them. Hurray I say. New company came out today to check our unit out. Trouble shoot and will return tomorrow with parts (no charge only labor to replace). We live in desert, 110+* so no way we could NOT have AC.

J Anthony's employee and family are neighbors from hell. The employee drives like a maniac in the work van, his personal cars and quads. He like racing up and down the dirt road and doing donuts causing major dust clouds. Kids are hellians and the mother is not afraid to yell at you screaming obscenities. J Anthony should be aware of the kind of people they hire and allow to drive their work vehicles home advertising their business. It doesn't show well for them and I'd never use their services.
