I called Richard because I had a huge pine leaning toward the house and was concerned about it falling. He came up the same day, gave me an estimate, came back the next day and took the tree down. They didn’t use a big truck in the yard which would leave big ruts, but, rather dropped the tree in the woods beside the house and didn’t destroy anything. The skill involved in placing that 65 foot tree exactly where they wanted was most impressive. I would be happy to recommend Jacobs Tree Worx for all your tree work. I will certainly call him again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We had a monster hemlock tree that was actually touching our house and a maple tree that had branches overhanging the house. Richard came to the house the day I called and gave us a very fair price on the hemlock and after seeing their work the next day i asked for a price on the maple and he gave us a super good price on it as a multiple tree discount. I had never even heard of Jacob Tree Worx when I called them but their estimate was the best we received and they didn't demand all the money upfront, it was half up front and half at completion of the job which made me comfortable. My husband and I have used Richard and his crew at Jacobs Tree Worx on several occasions for various tree projects. He is very flexible and will work with you on what you need. We have had them do just about everything from just "dropping" a tree (no fun for me to help my husband cut up), to trimming, and full removal(what I prefer). He is who I will call first!

Broke my signed contract and would not come back to complete the stump removal (3) as promised and agreed upon via contract. Should have known better when they were three days late starting the work as promised. I should have taken them to court but they weren't worth it! Richard has more excuses than Carter has liver pills!

They left branches in our neighbors yard and tree bark every were we called to have them come clean mess up but no one showed kept saying yes were coming today but never showed up our contract said clean up all debrie but they didn't. so we have to.i would not recommend this place to anyone
