The install team that came to our house did an amazing job — professional, efficient, and the actual work on the equipment was top-notch. I have no complaints about their craftsmanship. Unfortunately, every other part of the process was deceptive, frustrating, and extremely time-consuming. I went into this project with a home warranty that was advertised as providing up to $5,000 of coverage per system, only to end up with less than 1% of that applied toward my air conditioning replacement and nothing toward the furnace. The way the coverage was explained kept changing depending on who I spoke with, and I was left to spend hours chasing answers, pushing for documentation, and fighting through red tape. Todd was my service technician through American Home Shield warranty. Pitiful. He told me my problem was a plumbing issue, not the air conditioner even though I already had my own technician diagnose a leaking condensation tray. I had the plumber do his thing but of course the air conditioner was still leaking. Called Todd back. He said, "I already have a new air conditioner in the works." Obviously he knew what the problems was but didn't bother to tell me. He told me he'd have the "numbers" for a new unit in 1-2 days. I waited 2 weeks and never heard from him. I called him again. He told me he still didn't have the numbers for a new air conditioner. In the mean time, my floor in the utility room was becoming more drenched with water each day. Please avoid this company at all cost! When Todd came out to our house to inspect our HVAC, he right away tried upselling us things that "might not be covered by our home warranty" but that he was sure that needed fixing. He "fixed" our unit and before he even left the house, one of the pipes that never leaked before was now leaking. When we asked Todd about it he said oh they do that sometimes. After an hour of having the AC on, the pipes were frosted over. Needless to say they don't just do that and we had to have another company come out and redo everything that his company did. Please, please, please do not put yourself through the hassle of working with this company!

Todd was very thorough, put me at ease as he walked me through the troubleshooting process. I appreciated that he kept me apprised as we awaited a part for our furnace and explained why the part was needed. We had been told that we may need to replace our furnace but since he replaced the filter and the motor he suggested that we may have another 6-7 Years on this model. I got the referral through my home warranty company. I plan to use him again in the future.

Had a wonderful experience with Todd! We initially had a different company come out who reported to our home waranty company that there was "no mechanical failure". I requested a second opinion because we had no heat and Todd came to the rescue! He had the furnace replaced the very next day and dealt with home warranty company for me. He listened, was professional, and were so thankful that he and his technician, Jason, helped us stay warm through one of the coldest weeks of the year!
