I want someone local, with whom I can be forever grateful, for building the home that my children, whom are all going to be various doctors and practitioner. They will want to eventually enjoy this house and stay in Aiken County. I trust JD Gaskins group because so far I have seen respectable decisions, outstanding professionalism and insight for what I need. He will use the better options of components, and I don't have to doubt his word. I will edit this review about halfway through the building process. Family and friends are happy we found him after searching through other contractors for over a year.

So far we've found JD to be knowledgeable and competent for the most challenging of contracting projects. Most things in life are hit or miss or problematic. JD Gaskins I will entrust our new build with. He will keep things in line surely with his learned experiences in the past.

I recently hired JD Gaskins to install two handrails at my home. While the quality of the work was satisfactory, I was disappointed by the final cost. The handrails themselves were priced at $260 total, $500 for labor, and a surcharge $340 for the office manager to prepare a letter for my insurance company. When I inquired about the significant surcharge, I was informed that what I am really paying for is the cost of their license. While I understand that professional licensing is important, I feel that the overall cost was disproportionately high for the amount of work done. This experience has left me feeling that I overpaid for the service provided and I wouldn’t recommend using this company.

JD has great vision for projects and has several types of licenses for major or minor contracting. He's starting our expensive project and why we chose him is because we've seen his work, and he goes the extra distance, beyond doing what is needed, to ensure the best in choices for things that will matter in the long run. Other contractors will cut corners to save a buck, but to your loss in the future. He is honest with integrity so we are happy about that. His costs are more than fair and quality is top notch. They're important and valuable for our area.
