I absolutely do not recommend Jerns. In late summer of 2023, we purchased a mini-split unit to cool the upstairs of our house. It came with a one-year warranty. We used it very little that summer and it worked just fine, though we did notice some condensation on the outside of the portion of the unit that extends into the house. The next spring, in mid-May we turned the unit on and it was dripping onto the floor. This started an entire summer of phone calls and emails. At one point, Bob emailed us saying that they would honor the warranty if it wasn't fixed yet when the year was up. After months of phone calls and 4 visits to fix it, the unit was still dripping. A fantastic family run business. I have used them for years for both my personal home and business needs. Their work is efficient and always well done. Twice I have needed emergency help and they showed up within a couple hours.

We had our furnace installed by them and that experience was fantastic! However, this year our furnace was leaking and we called them due to the warranty we purchased on the unit and we were told that “leaking isn’t covered under the lifetime warranty”. Fine, whatever, still had them come out cause we obviously can’t have the furnace just leak. Took a week for them to come out the first time, they spent 10 minutes here and left. Wasn’t fixed. Called again, no one ever came from that call. Called a third time, couple days later someone showed up blew some air through a hose and said that was the problem. The hose they installed 4 years before was too small and that was making it leak. They were here 5 minutes. Guess what?! Still leaking, I called a fourth time and explained I was very unhap

Heat was out all night. Called Jerns at 8:00 am and they responded right away. Repair guy was courteous and fixed it promptly.

Our furnace quit working while it was VERY cold last week. I called Jern's and Bob (the owner) arrived within 30 minutes. They installed our new furnace the next day (Friday). There was an issue of some kind (not their fault) and they had to return on Monday to fix it. They came on Monday as promised and the furnace has been working perfectly. Bob and his employees were friendly and efficient. We are very pleased. Would recommend Jern's to anyone.
