J&M Tree Service

We are very pleased with J&M Tree Service. When we receive a sidewalk complaint from a resident, we have been sending them out to evaluate whether city-owned street trees in the public right-of-way are impacting sidewalks. Sometimes tree roots can cause sidewalk lifting and cracks. They have been trimming street trees as part of this service as well, and they have done an absolutely beautiful job. This routine maintenance will help our trees continue to grow healthy and strong while providing shade and beauty in Flint neighborhoods.

Owner was very nice and price was unbeatable after acquiring a few quotes. Got to my job a week earlier than quoted as well! Crew was incredibly fast, efficient, and was amazed at the detail they put into cleaning everything up once they were done. Stumps were ground the next day. I recently moved to Michigan in June and had two large trees that needed trimming and one large tree that needed all but 8' cut off. Additionally, I had shrubs removed which ran the entire length of the front of my house and needed them to be put in a wood chipper. Mike came out and gave me a quote for the entire job. In fact, he took care of the shrubbery that night. Because they are so busy, I was given a start date of November 20 for the tree trimming. Yesterday, I got a call asking if it was OK to start the job that day. Of course, I said yes. Had a tree taken down by J&M. Mike was fair priced and understood the importance of the tree removal due to causing sewer and foundation issues of the home. His crew was quick and professional. Kind to my neighbors as well. The quick removal of the tree allowed for the rest of the project to continue on task.
