John Cipollone Inc

We contracted John Cipollone Inc. to replace our dinosaur of a boiler. From start to finish everyone I was in contact with was a true professional; from our sales person, Matthias Cipollone, to the office staff, to the wonderful professionals who installed our system (Larry, Mike, & Gene). Matthias really understands older homes. We learned so much just from his walk through of our house and initial discussion of what system would suit us best. When it came time for the install, Larry, Mike, & Gene were prompt, careful, kept me informed and they were all so courteous. If I had to do it all over again I would not hesitate to choose John Cipollone inc.!

Here is my backstory and how John Cipollone helped in my decision to go from Oil to Gas. Since 1996 I have had an Oil Heater and Oil Hot Water Heater, but recently Gas was put on my street. I was told by many people I should change to Gas. I was back and forth with this decision. However, after speaking with a couple people at John Cipollone a number of times to get information, I finally decided to switch. Since my Hot Water Heater, Air Conditioner and Heater were all up in years, I replaced all of them. Matthias came to my home to check things out and then sent me two proposals for Gas and I asked for one for Oil. Vince went above & beyond the call of duty helping us out with our business's water heater in the basement that broke recently. He did an inspection & explained to me everything he was doing on what the problem could be as I love learning new things of life. Our problem was the flame not staying lit after igniting, so he tried cleaning it out for us but it did not work. We also had a problem with our A/C unit & he said the filters might be clogged up with dust & he went outside and cleaned it out for us 11/10 service.

As a new homeowner I contacted the company because their sticker was on the heating unit from previous servicing. I contacted the team to come out and assess the status of our very visibly old unit to see if it would be safe to run this winter, our first in the home. The person that came out would not open up the unit to inspect it “not without signing a contract” for a year and approximately $300-400. He turned it on to see if it would work, and it made audible concerning noises but he said “it just needs a cleaning.” I’m glad I got a second opinion from Wm. Henderson, who gave a detailed look at the full system, both inside and out with no money required, and let me know it would be very dangerous to run our system as is.
