John R Grumbach Plumbing & Heating

This was my first & last time using John Grumbach Plumbing & Heating. I had the absolute worst experience with them by first giving out incorrect inaccurate information, then argued & got nasty with me, etc. so in thorough detail here is what transpired… I first called them over the phone 3/17/25 inquiring about services since I was a first time customer. They advised the fee was $155 an hour plus any parts required would be billed separately. I explained I already purchased the parts such as (Moen temp shower head, faucet along with drain & knob) So in reality all I needed them to install the new items I purchased & discard the old. The following day they came & only was here for an hour. So when he finished and gave me the total price advising it was $295! I requested to speak with manag

My husband & I had "awesome service" from Corey Grumbach & his crew. Corey walked through my home and showed us all of the plumbing that was not up to current code standards and due to the heavy rain, had to install a sump pump for us as well! His pricing was fair and what I expected based on the amount of work he did. I would "highly recommend Grumbach Plumbing to everyone"!!!

Charged me more than the agreed upon price almost 8 months after work performed. John Grumbach gave me a price 3 times before the work began. Stated the hourly rate and how long it would take. Almost 6 months later Grumbach Plumbing sent me a bill with extra charges of almost $150 for an additional helper. This additional cost was not agreed to and not provided by John Grumbach in the original estimate. Very difficult to speak to the office and Lisa even hung up on me.

This used to be a business you could count on and we’re of their word. Since the father retired it is nothing like it used to be. Unprofessional - Will tell you one thing and then tell you something else. Looking for a contract you’ll never see one- looking for them to show up like they said they would won’t happen. It’s an absolute shame that the son has taken a business. That had such a wonderful reputation and literally flushed it down the toilet. I wouldn’t even give it one star if I didn’t have to I give it -10 stars.

Very professional! Extremely reliable and explanatory. They get the job done. Highly recommended. I really like to thank Gloria the previous owner for the recommendation.
