Excellent customer service. The review before mine was pretty unfair -- leaving a 1-star rating because they are only wholesale? Wouldn't that be like ordering an ice cream cone from a dealership then leaving them 1 star rating because they don't serve them? We have done business with Johnstone Supply for many years. No issues, no problems. They are a wholesale supply house serving licensed contractors.

Free pallets!! I collect pallets here on a regular basis, they set them out by the street. But that's right, they won't sell HVAC parts to the public. They would have to raise their prices to deal with all the nonsense. This is basically a parts depot for experts who already know what they need, and the folks at the counter just ring up the invoice. I used to buy from this company when it was E&J Supply on Carter Road.

Very poor experience. Will not sell to the public, which is their decision, and not a reason for 1 star. Reason for the one star is the attitude of the counter person, who ignored me for the first 5 minutes. After talking to me, explained they don't sell to the public. But oh, I touched the part, therefore ruined the part, and if I put it in my furnace it would probably explode. Nonsense, at least he sold me the part due to me ruining it. (Touching it may have ruined it, but the counter person was overly rude about it). Finally threw my credit card back at me. Wouldn't recommend.

After purchasing a retrofit blower motor for my fathers 1000 SQFT cottage in an emergency last November, I was very pleased at the response of this traverse city supplier in our moment of need. Our Goodman model was a GNP080-4 REV B Over the past several days this retro-fit motor does not appear to have enough speed to work for the A/C. I do not fault anyone at Johnstone supply and are perfectly willing to purchase a new motor. Unfortunately the counter help “Brian” informed me (July 1st, 8:00 am) that there was no possible way he could confirm the specifications of the motor to me in any way electronic fashion. Not Fax, not text, not email. It seems ridiculous to confirm the specs of this motor in this way, but what the heck, this is what it is. Hoping for help.

Wholesale only. Horrid phone service. Could of created a business account but would not do business with these people.
