Kermit Tylers Painting

This man is a total con artist. Who paints over rotten wood? Was told he would replace some Hardee plank and instead used wood planks and didn't even nail it down. He said he would REPLACE all rotten wood but instead, painted over it or put wood putty over it. His own worker told us he felt bad and was not surprised because he had heard many complaints from other customers. Kermit said he had already ordered the paint and it would be delivered tomorrow when we asked for our $2000 deposit back. Guess what? I called the painting representative over at Tilly Mill in Home Depot to confirm. Received a call from the representative this morning that no order had been placed, no paint had been paid for, and no paint was being delivered to our home like Kermit said. So, another lie, Kermit Tyler. I

I was very pleased with Kermit Tyler and his crew who came out last year and painted our deck. The stain they used was a very high quality, and he put two coats on it. He and his crew were quick, but not sloppy. I would highly recommend them.

Normally I am very easy going but I have to say Kermit Tyler is not a man of his word. He was hired to paint the exterior of our home, trim and deck. Several things he painted peeled, within a month. He puttied over wood rot instead of replacing wood and it was sunken and dented, even leaking in places within a month or two! He elected to paint my deck floor when the weather looked like rain, and you will never believe what happened, it rained! The deck floor looks terrible. He was working near my home and I showed him everything and he agreed to fix it. Kept calling him to return, would see him around and remind him to no avail. He never came back. Don't fall for his charming and positive personality, he is dishonest.

Kermit Tylers painting company took a $1500 deposit from me and I never heard from them again! I am in the process of filing police report so that this won't happen to anyone else!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY from these people!!!!
