Once he got started tho, he was very efficient with his work so you could tell he knew what he was doing. Had a few stains I just knew wouldn’t come up but yet they are gone!! Thank you sir!!

Tilford just finished cleaning our carpets and the results were AMAZING. Literally it looks like we have brand new carpets throughout the house and it smells so clean and new. We have two big dogs and a toddler so I was worried it was too tough of a job but I can’t get over how great everything turned out. Highly recommend Tilford and Kill Devil Hilo’s Chem Dry! He drove up to us in Corolla and was just so professional and kind. If I could give more stars I would! Thanks again!

The technician, Tully showed up to my house and quoted me $205 for a sectional, which was $45 more than he advised over the phone. I explained to him that I’ve had it steam cleaned several times from another vendor and never paid more than $150 including all the pillows. I had several other pieces for him to clean in our house as well including our upholstered king bed. He was clearly looking to take advantage bc he didn’t want to drive from the Outerbanks (and made a huge deal about it on the phone when booking the appointment). Very unprofessional! A company should stick to their rates when booking an appointment. If there’s an issue with distance, I would recommend a fuel charge be added to the order and discussed up front with a customer. That’s how a professional would handle this.
